Junior Program

Junior golf Instruction and development can range from 7 years up to 16 years and so it also becomes important to provide them with pathways for improvement because this spread in ages will see dissimilar physical and psychological maturation levels. When developing such pathways age alone is not always the perfect arrangement as even children of the same age can often differ in as much as 2-3 years in physical development be careful that your child does not get mismatched within a junior program. To be fair though age is probably the best starting point and then ability should be graded within the age group.  

Junior 6 Week Program

This program is designed to introduce children to the game of golf in a fun, educational and social environment. The classes cover basic fundamentals, safety and rules and include lots of games.

The program caters for all abilities and involves various skill and knowledge tests in order to progress through three levels: Birdies, Eagles and Bears. These levels are detailed overleaf and on our website: www.mooreparkgolf.com.au. All classes are taught by PGA accredited teaching professionals and are limited to a maximum of 8 students per class, which means students can get all the attention they need.

Grading assessments are encouraged for new students to ensure they are placed in the most appropriate class. These can be arranged by calling the School of Golf on (02) 9663 1064.

Suitable for: 7-11 year olds

Price: $150 per child (6 classes), including use of all clubs and balls.

Minimum class size: 3 students

Maximum class size: 8 students
